The institute Chemistry Biology Innovation (CBI) is a new UMR gathering 5 teams: the laboratory of BioChemistry (LBC), the laboratory of Colloids and Divided Materials (LCMD), the laboratory of Biophysics and Evolution (LBE), the laboratory of Sciences of Analytics, Bioanalytics and Miniaturisation (LSABM) and the laboratory of Innovative Materials for Energy (MIE) are all research teams of experimental chemistry and biology whose objective is the scientific creation and technological innovation at the frontiers of chemistry and biology.

LBC brings an expertise in biochemistry, LCMD in physico-chemistry, LBE in microbiology, LSABM in analytical chemistry and MIE in material science.
